This policy explains how GEA Online (“GEA,” “GEAMMO,” “we”) collects and uses information when you visit GEAMMO.com, create a community account, use the development forum, subscribe to the Chronicle newsletter, or otherwise interact with this website. GEAMMO.com is the marketing and community site for GEA Online, a persistent 3D MMORPG built with Unreal Engine 5. Game-client access is separate from a community forum account.

Information we collect

• Account information: community name (username), optional email address, password hash, account dates, and (when you register) records that you confirmed you are 13 or older and accepted these terms and this policy.
• Game-related information: if you later link or use a GEA Online game account through this site, character or account identifiers needed to operate or support the game.
• Community content: forum posts, threads, and other content you submit. Some forum content and usernames are public.
• Newsletter information: email address, consent time, and subscription status when you sign up for the Chronicle.
• Contact messages: name, email, and message when you use the contact form.
• Security and technical information: IP address for login, abuse prevention, and rate limiting; browser/user-agent information; session identifiers; and server logs.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure community and (when applicable) game accounts; operate the forum and newsletter; prevent spam, cheating, and abuse; respond to support requests; improve the site and game; maintain legal and operational records; and send optional development or community emails when you consent.

Cookies and local technologies

GEAMMO.com uses a session cookie required for login, security, and CSRF protection. We do not currently use third-party behavioral advertising cookies on this site.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by hosting, database, email, or security providers that help operate GEA Online. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect players or the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate notice and safeguards.

Payments

This website does not currently collect payment card information. If real-money purchases are enabled later, this policy will be updated before payment information is collected. We do not intend to store complete card numbers.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate and secure the community and game, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

• The Chronicle newsletter is optional and separate from community registration.
• You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account information, subject to security, fraud-prevention, and legal-retention needs.
• You can stop using the site at any time and may ask us to delete a community account via the contact form.

Children

GEA Online and GEAMMO.com are general-audience services and are not directed at children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create a community account or use the forum. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 provided information, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed.

International users

GEAMMO.com is operated from the United States. If you access it elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States. Additional regional rights may apply depending on where you live.
