Feature requests and development feedback

Use this thread for grounded development feedback. Strong suggestions explain the player problem, the affected system and the desired outcome. Relevant areas include combat feel, interface readability, gathering, recipes, construction, village economy, NPC behavior, quests, trade, formations and siege controls. The project is under active development, so suggestions are welcome, but a discussion does not constitute a promised feature or release commitment.

A development status page that labels systems as implemented, testing or planned would help the community give feedback without assuming every code path is release-ready.
